Heartbreak High star hosts autism forum in hometown
Chloé Hayden, star of Netflix's Heartbreak High, hosts autism awareness forum in her regional hometown.
Chloé Hayden was diagnosed with autism at 13 while living in Portland, regional Victoria. She found the experience isolating, with limited awareness and support in her community.
Today she works as a disability advocate. She also starred in Netflix's Heartbreak High, where she was praised for her role as an autistic character.
Hayden is now returning home to host the Eye Sparkle Forum on November 22 in Warrnambool. The event will include a talk, Q&A, and social time about autism and disability education.
She hopes the forum becomes a space where neurodivergent people feel they belong. She also wants parents and educators to learn how to better support people who think differently.
