Essendon's Natalie Wood remains composed about her contract status despite the Bombers' woeful 1-8 record. The coach told her post-match press conference she has no new contract offer but isn't worried.
Wood has been with the club for five years and accepts a full review is coming. Natalie Wood said the club might bring in someone else who takes the players further, and that would be excellent.
For now, she is doing her best each week and feels well backed. The Bombers play North Melbourne, Hawthorn and Collingwood in their remaining matches.
