Powderfinger adds more 2027 shows after reunion tour presale madness
The band announced extra shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth after presale queues stretched into thousands.
Thousands of people queued in this morning's presale for Powderfinger tickets. The band and Live Nation announced extra shows across four capital cities.
The band is returning to tour late 2027 for the first time since their final show in 2010. Extra dates include two shows each in Brisbane (September 6 and 8) and Melbourne (September 25 and 27).
Sydney gets one on October 6 and Perth gets one on September 27. The Australian group formed in 1989.
They released five ARIA number-one albums and won 18 ARIA Awards before splitting. A Live Nation presale runs Friday.
General tickets go on sale Monday at 10am AEST.
