Men create sexual AI images of woman without her consent
Men at a Perth pub used a photo of Jade Helen to create fake sexual images with AI, then showed her.
A Perth woman has revealed how men at a pub used her photo to create unwanted sexual content with AI. Jade Helen, 29, was at a Scarborough venue on a Friday night when men nearby took her picture without her knowing.
One man put the photo into an AI tool and created images showing Helen in sexual scenarios with members of the group. The men then showed the altered images to Helen and her friend, laughing at their creation.
Helen at first dismissed the incident as drunken behaviour but later realised how serious the violation was. The venue took immediate action and banned the men from the premises.
Police told Helen that no current law covers AI-created sexual content, though Western Australia has rules against creating fake intimate images without consent.
