Perth set for spring warmth after storms clear
Perth will see spring temperatures in the low to mid-20s from Thursday as storm systems move east out of Western Australia.
September was largely warmer and drier than usual, with only 24.6mm of rainfall in the first 26 days compared to an average 70mm. Storm systems that battered parts of Western Australia over the weekend and early week are now moving east.
There is a chance of some severe storms in the Goldfields and Eucla this afternoon and tomorrow, but once that clears, a ridge of high pressure will push through. From Thursday afternoon onwards, clear skies and warm conditions will dominate through the end of the week.
Temperatures will be in the low to mid-20s, a little above the October average of 23.5C. Overnight temperatures will remain around the September average of 9.7C.
