Western Bulldogs hire Amos as backline coach for 2027
Dale Amos, a former Carlton and Geelong assistant, replaces Daniel Pratt at the Bulldogs.
The Western Bulldogs have appointed Dale Amos as backline coach for the 2027 season. Amos replaces Daniel Pratt, who moved to Essendon as a senior assistant last month.
Amos spent six years as backline coach at Carlton before leaving in 2021, and earlier worked three years as an assistant at Geelong under Chris Scott. Amos has spent the past five years as head of football at Xavier College in Melbourne and also coached in the Demons' AFLW program.
His backline will include Jordon Butts, who arrived as a free agent from Adelaide in October, and Buku Khamis, who re-signed in September.
