Sydney beaches see DIY parking enforcement with fluorescent paint
Someone's spray-painting cars parked across driveways with bright fluorescent lines in Sydney's Freshwater.
A tradie's ute and a Tesla were among vehicles targeted on Moore Rd after blocking driveways. Rob Rakuc arrived home from work to find a neon stripe showing how far his ute had crept partially across a neighbour's driveway.
Rob Rakuc estimates the paint job will cost him a couple hundred dollars to remove. The mystery painter has struck at least twice on the same street, each time leaving a visible mark as a warning.
Photos of the incident have racked up thousands of likes on social media. One nearby bottle shop owner said he understood the frustration over parking problems in the area, though didn't condone the vandalism.
