Jamie Foxx and Pip Edwards turn heads in bold fashion at Melbourne Cup

Hollywood stars including Jamie Foxx, Robbie Williams and Helena Christensen arrived at Melbourne Cup. Their bold fashion looks dominated the style talk.

International celebrity arrivals at Melbourne Cup this year brought bold fashion to Flemington. Jamie Foxx turned heads in a glittering gold suit jacket.

Fashion entrepreneur Pip Edwards arrived in a J'Aton Couture monochrome outfit with a sculptural hat by Embellish Atelier. TV presenter Jules Neale made her Cup debut in a striking all-red By Johnny gown.

It had a feather-trimmed hem and matching opera gloves. Beyond the birdcage, other guests wore florals and bright colours despite the rain at Flemington.

Helena Christensen and Robbie Williams were also among the celebrity guests.

AustraliaThe Cup remains Australia's biggest annual fashion event outside the runways, setting trends that filter into local style.
