Former ACT Attorney-General pleads not guilty to child abuse charges
Gordon Ramsay pleaded not guilty to eight charges of child grooming and abuse between 2022 and 2025.
Ramsay appeared in the ACT Supreme Court to enter his pleas. The charges include grooming, possessing child abuse material, indecent acts, and using a carriage service in a menacing way.
Gordon Ramsay was arrested and granted bail in 2025 on allegations involving a teenage boy. Ramsay's lawyer, Michael Kukulies-Smith, said he would challenge evidence from a search warrant.
Prosecutors will get expert evidence from child abuse specialists for trial. Chief Justice Lucy McCallum said the Supreme Court's schedule is tight.
