Homicide investigators probe death of man in Woodridge unit
A man in his 60s was found dead with an apparent injury in a Woodridge unit on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to a North Rd unit in Woodridge about 7:15am on Tuesday for a welfare check. Officers found the body of a man believed to be aged in his 60s.
Logan District Detective Inspector Ian Galpin said the man had an obvious injury, which prompted police to treat the death as a homicide. The welfare check was requested by someone who knew the man.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone in the North Rd area between 4pm Monday and 8am Tuesday who saw anything suspicious to come forward.
