Death from North Albury stabbing triggers murder investigation
A 28-year-old man found with a neck stab wound on September 27 in North Albury has died, triggering a murder investigation.
A 28-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his neck on Calimo St in North Albury. Early on Sunday, September 27, about 1am, paramedics treated him at the scene and took him to hospital in critical condition.
Police were told on Sunday he had died. The State Crime Command Homicide Squad is now assisting Murray River Police District officers with the investigation.
A report will be prepared for the coroner. Detectives are asking for any CCTV footage, dashcam video, mobile phone recordings or other information that might help.
