Funeral directors retire after 25 years in Bendigo and Castlemaine

Three funeral directors with decades of experience are stepping back from Mount Alexander Funerals in Bendigo and Castlemaine. Brian and Lyn Leidle are leaving after 25 years.

Ron Stone is retiring after 10 years. The work was "physically heavy but emotionally very heavy," Brian said.

"We only have one opportunity and we've got to get it right," he said. Mount Alexander Funerals will continue after the three retire.
