Ellidy Pullin engaged six years after Chumpy's death

Podcaster Ellidy Pullin announced her engagement to Brock Wadsworth on Instagram. This was six years after Olympic snowboarder Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin died.

Ellidy, 34, shared the news Wednesday morning while on holiday in Europe with friends, posting photos of her diamond ring and champagne toast in a black lace dress on the beach. Experts say the ring has a 5-carat cushion-cut diamond in yellow gold.

If natural, it's worth about A$320,000. If lab-grown, it's worth A$9,000 to A$10,000.

Ellidy introduced Brock publicly less than a year ago. She had kept the relationship private before that.

Her fans and fellow podcasters, including Indy Clinton and Tammy Hembrow, flooded Instagram with congratulations. On her podcast, Ellidy said finding love again brought guilt after Chumpy's death in 2020.

But she said she is happy.
