Victorian cattle stud Kelly Angus puts property on market

Kelly Angus is a well-known Angus cattle stud near Yea in Victoria's High Country. The property is being sold.
Philanthropist Vicki Standish ran the operation for 14 years, starting in 2012. The property could hold up to 550 breeding cattle.
It is seen as one of the region's most productive farms. The stud already sold a herd of 265 pregnancy-tested females in May.
Kelly Angus held regular bull sales on the property. It sold bulls to several major commercial and stud operations across Victoria.
In 2020 the stud helped buy a $108,000 bull named Texas Powerplay P613. The bull went missing in January 2022.
It was found three kilometres away. The property is for sale by expressions of interest.
