Kane Cornes runs two marathons in five days for Telethon
Kane Cornes will run two marathons in five days for Western Australian Telethon, with Luke Hodge skydiving in support.
Kane Cornes runs the first marathon at the Perth Running Festival on Sunday. Just four days later, he tackles a second 42-kilometre run, the Rotto Run up to Telethon with, joined by Premier Roger Cook, radio hosts Xavier Ellis and Katie Lamb, and other supporters.
Fellow Seven broadcaster Luke Hodge will skydive over Rottnest during the second run. Cornes said he was willing to push his body hard because of what Telethon does for kids and families in WA.
The money raised will be revealed during the 59th annual Telethon on October 17 and 18 at RAC Arena, broadcast live on Channel 7. The public can donate to support Cornes's challenge.
