Two survive light aircraft crash near Perth
A man in his 60s and another in his 30s survived with non-life-threatening injuries when their plane crashed near Perth.
A single-engine aircraft crashed near Greenside private airfield off Brand Highway on Saturday morning. Emergency services found the plane about around 250 metres from the runway with significant damage to its fuselage, wings and tail.
One occupant got out himself; the other was helped from the wreckage. The two men were treated at the scene and taken to Royal Perth Hospital at priority one.
Fire and Emergency Services officers said several people at the airfield quickly came to help. Police said their investigation is ongoing.
