Former captain smashes century as Nestles cruise past Dennington
Jacob Hetherington, a former Nestles captain, returned on permit and blasted an unbeaten 101 off just 66 balls in a seven-wicket victory.
Jacob Hetherington reminded Nestles why they miss him, smashing a quickfire 101 not out in the Factory's round two one-day win against Dennington on Saturday. The hard-hitting right-hander, who left the club last year to play with Colac South West side Stoneyford, brought up his century off just 66 balls with seven fours and eight sixes.
Dennington posted 8-187 off 45 overs. Hetherington also took 2-34 with the ball.
Opening batter Geoff Williams (48) combined with Hetherington in a 93-run stand and said the former skipper had a great afternoon. The match was only Nestles' first win of the season after round one was rained out.
