Hope strikes century as West Indies chase down 250 to level series

Shai Hope scored 102 as West Indies chased 250 and beat India by six wickets.

West Indies chased 250, the highest successful target in their T20 history. Shai Hope hit an unbeaten 102 off just 45 deliveries.

Hope paired with Sherfane Rutherford in a devastating 120-run partnership for the fourth wicket. The chase was the second-highest ever in men's T20, behind only South Africa's 259 against West Indies in 2023.

West Indies faced early trouble when India's Mayank Yadav took two wickets in the opening over. Hope and Rutherford turned the match around with aggressive batting.

The teams meet again in the third T20 in Indore on Sunday.
