Chris Brown faces sentencing for London nightclub brawl
Chris Brown will be sentenced Monday on affray charges after attacking a music producer at a London nightclub in February 2023.
The Grammy-winning artist pleaded guilty in July to attacking music producer Abraham Diaw with a bottle at the Tape nightclub in Mayfair. Prosecutors had surveillance footage of the fight, witnessed by other patrons.
Brown fled the UK after the incident but was arrested in May 2025 at a Manchester hotel while in the city for a concert. The affray charge carries a maximum prison sentence of three years.
Brown was released on bail of £5 million ($A9.5 million), which allowed him to tour during the legal process. His friend and vocal coach also pleaded guilty to affray in the same incident.
