Kardashian wins symbolic €1 damages from Paris heist robbers
Kim Kardashian has been awarded €1 in symbolic damages from the 2016 Paris hotel thieves.
The reality TV star was tied up at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room and robbers stole jewels including a $US4 million ($A5.6 million) engagement ring from her then-husband Kanye West. Kardashian testified she believed she would die during the attack.
The thieves, known in France as the "Grandpa Robbers" for their advanced ages, wore ski masks and pretended to be police. Most of the jewels were never recovered.
The robbery was France's largest in 20 years at the time. Kardashian sought only symbolic damages; the mastermind, Aomar Ait Khedache, aged 69, was jailed for three years.
A hotel receptionist who was also robbed was awarded about €110,000 ($A180,000) in damages.
