Virat Kohli has joined Sachin Tendulkar as only the second batter to reach 15,000 ODI runs, striking an unbeaten 139 in India's eight-wicket victory over West Indies. Shubman Gill made 110 as India chased down West Indies' 296 with 50 balls to spare.
Gill and Kohli put on a 151-run partnership off 132 balls after Rohit Sharma departed in the 12th over. For West Indies, Justin Greaves and John Campbell added 135 for the opening wicket.
Kuldeep Yadav took 4-40 on his ODI return while Amir Jangoo made 58 to help West Indies recover to 295. The victory gives India a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
