Police seek man over Bunnings car park assault in Tasmania
A man assaulted inside his car at a Bunnings in Kings Meadows on Thursday afternoon after being followed from traffic.
Police in Tasmania are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a young driver in the car park of Bunnings at Kings Meadows on Thursday, 24 September, at about 4.20pm. The victim was attacked inside his white Mazda 3 after being followed from Wellington Street in Launceston.
The alleged attacker drove a white dual cab utility and confronted the driver in the car park. Police describe the man as aged in his late 20s to early 30s, about 178cm tall with short brown or red hair and a short beard.
He was wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt, cargo pants and steel-capped boots. CCTV footage of the utility has been released.
