PLC Resources' satellite survey uncovers gold targets in WA Murchison
PLC Resources found multiple gold targets at Abbotts using satellite surveys. The spectral signatures match the nearby Crown Prince producing mine.
PLC Resources hired satellite expert Geo Spectra to scan its Abbotts project. The Abbotts project is 35 kilometres north of Meekatharra.
The project spans 205 square kilometres in the Murchison region. The team combined satellite images with magnetic data and old chemistry records.
They found patterns linked to gold deposits. They found key targets at Rochefort, Buttamiah, Vranizan North and Sprigg Bore, where rock features matched.
The key finding: spectral signatures at Sprigg Bore match those at Crown Prince mine. Crown Prince mine is 5 kilometres south.
It began production in September 2025. The Abbotts Greenstone Belt historically produced some 41,000 ounces at 31 grams per tonne.
This is unusually high grade. PLC finished drilling at Rochefort.
They expect assay results within weeks. More testing is planned before aircore and diamond drilling in early 2027.
