Murder convict escapes Tennessee prison, caught near Kansas City
Jacob Morley, serving a life sentence, escaped prison and evaded capture for more than a week before being recaptured in Missouri.
Morley escaped Northwest Correctional Complex in Tennessee on October 25 by slipping through a fence while in prison clothes. Morley stole a truck and stayed on the run for more than a week, travelling hundreds of kilometres.
Police tracked him using roadside cameras and a helicopter. The truck got stuck in mud near Kansas City, Missouri, where he was arrested.
