Keast and Jones return to North Warrnambool Eagles for 2027
Two accomplished footballers return after years away to play alongside family and finally win a premiership.
Darcy Keast and Felix Jones are rejoining North Warrnambool Eagles for the 2027 season. Keast, 33, a versatile defender with over 100 Eagles appearances, hasn't played for the club since 2019.
Keast spent time in Geelong, Queensland, and the Northern Territory before coming home. Jones, 27, spent the last two seasons at Bell Post Hill after playing in the Eagles' 2024 grand final.
Keast cites family as his main draw: he will play alongside his brother and cousins in the senior side. Jones says he missed the club and came to play with his brother and mates.
Winning a premiership with the Eagles remains unfinished business for both players.
