The beloved Alkimos Beach Huts will rise again. Stockland is redesigning the huts.

Community feedback will come through pop-up events this November. Locals can vote on two proposed designs.

Construction starts in 2027. The new huts will sit on Bather's Promenade opposite Bather's Park Playground.

The private landowner requested their removal. Structural concerns made it unsafe to move them.

Local resident Caitlin Moore started a petition last year gathering around 1,300 signatures. A Grill'd restaurant will occupy where the huts once stood.
