$100 million Powerball draw closes Thursday night

Australia's biggest lottery jackpot this year, $100 million, is drawn Thursday night.

The Powerball jackpot jumped to $100 million after five draws produced no division one winners. The Lott expects a last-minute rush of entries before close at 7:30pm.

In June 2025, when Powerball last offered $100 million, peak sales happened at 6:27pm on the day. The $100 million prize went to a mystery Sydney winner after a months-long search.

A win would make the ticket holder Australia's third biggest lottery winner ever. The Lott recommends registering your entry to a player card or online account so you can be contacted immediately if you win.

So far this year, 16 Powerball division one winners have collected more than $386 million across Australia.
