Port Adelaide open to trading Todd Marshall
Port Adelaide confirmed it will consider trade offers for forward Todd Marshall, contracted for three more seasons at about $800,000 a year.
Port list boss Jason Cripps confirmed Thursday that Todd Marshall remains available to other clubs during the trade period. Marshall played just 15 games this year after missing the entire 2025 season due to an Achilles injury.
Cripps defended Marshall against recent criticism, saying it has been "borderline disrespectful" to question his value as a key forward. Marshall's name was mentioned in earlier discussions between Port and the Western Bulldogs over the Zak Butters deal, but the AFL rejected that proposal last month.
Cripps said Port needs to be aggressive with list decisions to bring in more picks and players. He noted Marshall kicked 45 goals in one season and 36 in another before injury, and those scoring forwards are rare in the market.
