Record-breaking Tasmanian home expected to top $2.3m price again
A $2.215 million Columbus Drive home sold in early 2024 is back for sale after owners relocated to Brisbane.
The sprawling hilltop house in Blackstone Heights set a suburb record when a Dilston couple bought it in February 2024. Thirty months later, after renovations, they are moving to Queensland and the property is listed again.
Real estate agent George Bushby says mainland interest has been strong since the first week online. The home no longer holds the suburb record, that was eclipsed by the $2.3 million sale of 85 Bayview Drive in late 2024, but it is considered likely the property will top that figure to reclaim the title.
Views over the South Esk River and the home's size continue to draw buyers. Local inspections have already happened alongside interstate enquiries.
