Meat cleaver used in Dubbo home invasion, two teens charged
Two 15-year-old boys confronted a woman with a meat cleaver during a Dubbo home invasion and were arrested after fleeing.
Two 15-year-old boys have been charged following an armed home invasion in Dubbo. Early Thursday morning, police responded to reports of a break-in on St Brigids Circuit about 1:30am.
The intruders confronted a 32-year-old woman with a meat cleaver and stole car keys to vehicles on the property. When police arrived, the teenagers fled on foot.
Officers arrested two of the boys nearby after a short pursuit while four others escaped. The youths were charged with aggravated break and enter.
Police are still searching for the other four teenage boys involved.
