Teenager plays grand final in debut season for Koroit
Will Morrison competes in the Hampden league grand final in just his 17th senior game.
Will Morrison was a farm worker working toward a career in agriculture when he made his Koroit debut this year. In just his second senior game, he kicked four goals.
Now, 17 games and 17 goals into his first season, he will line up in the Hampden league grand final against North Warrnambool Eagles on Saturday. The 195-centimetre teenager plays as a key forward and in the ruck, working alongside experienced forward Sam Dobson.
Morrison balances football with part-time work at Hamilton Farm Supplies, training around his farm shifts 10 minutes from Hawkesdale. His coach praised his flexibility and willingness to use his body in tough contests.
Morrison won under-16 premierships with Koroit before this breakout senior season.
