51-year-old woman dies in Frankston house fire
A 51-year-old woman was found dead inside a property on Stanley Street after a fire broke out around 5pm Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the house on Stanley Street, Frankston, at about 5pm on Thursday after the blaze took hold. The woman was the only person inside the home at the time.
Victoria Police found her deceased inside the premises. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Police have declared the site a crime scene and an arson chemist is expected to attend to help with the investigation. Anyone with information or footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
