Stabbing victim stable as man charged with attempted murder
A 22-year-old Nuriootpa man was charged with attempted murder after a 30-year-old from Kapunda was stabbed multiple times in Bethel.
SA Police responded to a private property on Pine Creek Road at Bethel on Sunday evening. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was flown to hospital in critical condition.
The stabbing victim's condition is now stable. A 22-year-old Nuriootpa man was arrested at the scene without incident.
He was charged with attempted murder and refused police bail. Police confirmed the two men know each other and the incident was not random.
The accused is expected to appear in court on Monday.
