Archie McDonald wins inaugural world Bagger motorcycle title
The 20-year-old from Jindera became the first FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup champion at Austria's Red Bull Ring.
Archie McDonald clinched the inaugural title with an eighth-place finish at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, then flew home to Jindera for a homecoming celebration with family and friends. The win came months after his older brother Toby died in April aged 22.
McDonald made the difficult decision to remain overseas and finish the championship rather than return home. McDonald's parents initially struggled with this choice.
Archie McDonald dedicated the title to Toby and said the win felt like a dream after years of setbacks. His parents Scott and Miranda flew to Austria to watch him seal the championship.
