Witness says accused killer never mentioned ex in three months
A close friend testified she never heard the accused mention his ex in three months.
Beau Lamarre-Condon, 31, is a former senior constable. He has pleaded not guilty to murdering his ex-partner Jesse Baird and Baird's new boyfriend Luke Davies in February 2024.
The prosecution alleges Lamarre-Condon became obsessed with Baird and decided to kill him. Nicole Harvell is a close friend of the accused.
She told the NSW Supreme Court she had no memory of him mentioning Baird in the three months before the deaths. She was in almost daily contact with him during that time.
Evidence has shown Lamarre-Condon staged Instagram posts with flowers to trick Baird about their relationship status. He spent $160 on an identical bouquet.
He asked his mother to help lie to Baird.
