CCTV tracked cop hiring van hours after alleged murders
Prosecutors presented CCTV showing Beau Lamarre-Condon, 31, hiring a van about 12 hours after allegedly murdering his ex Jesse Baird and new partner Luke Davies.
A jury in NSW Supreme Court watched footage showing the former senior constable arriving at an Avis depot on foot around 9pm on February 19, 2024, then driving out in a Toyota Hiace van. Forensics later found significant blood staining in the vehicle.
GPS data placed the van near the victim's Paddington house at 11pm and again after midnight. Prosecutors allege Flynn hired his mother's SUV the day before to kill Baird, but when Davies unexpectedly called triple-zero, Flynn shot him through a door and had to upgrade to a larger van.
The men's bodies were left in surfboard bags; Flynn then bought a second bag, the prosecution says, showing he was adapting to the unexpected second death.
