Caleb Flynn sentenced to life for murdering wife
Caleb Flynn, 40, was convicted of murdering his wife Ashley while having an affair and staging a home invasion.
The former music pastor shot his wife, a 37-year-old schoolteacher and volleyball coach, in their Ohio home in February, then claimed a burglar killed her. Prosecutors showed the jury fingerprints and DNA evidence at the scene, plus device data placing Flynn in the house when he claimed to be asleep.
The jury also saw GPS and purchase records contradicting his account. A judge on Monday sentenced him to life without parole, saying she was disturbed Flynn used his faith to hide his deception and infidelity.
Flynn has maintained his innocence despite admitting to many lies.
