Drill rapper Snoee Badman is Jacob Tammer-Spence, age 33. He was jailed for manslaughter after stabbing rugby league player Sitaleki Filihiahekava outside a fast-food restaurant in Sydney's inner west in September 2024.
The fight lasted just 30 seconds. Filihiahekava had accused Tammer-Spence of being involved in a year-old barbershop shooting.
Filihiahekava threatened to shoot Tammer-Spence. Tammer-Spence said he feared for his life.
He said he saw no gun. He later said he acted too hard.
Justice Richard Cavanagh sentenced him to 8 years and 3 months at most. The judge accepted his PTSD, substance use disorder, and troubled background as reasons to lower the sentence.
With time served, he will be eligible for parole in April 2030.
