Avengers: Endgame Encore adds scenes bridging Doomsday film
Marvel re-released Endgame with four minutes of new footage. These scenes lead into the Doomsday film arriving 18 December.
Marvel has re-released the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame in theatres as Endgame Encore. The film now includes four brand new scenes that directly lead into Avengers: Doomsday.
The new footage was shot during Doomsday production and adds four minutes to the film. The new footage includes appearances by Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), Loki, and Bruce Banner.
One scene shows Loki visiting Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter to discuss how their time travel created instability in the multiverse. A different scene reveals the entire multiverse is collapsing as two alternate Earths collide.
The scenes introduce characters crossing into the Marvel universe from other franchises, including the X-Men. Doomsday arrives in theatres 18 December.
