Amazon cancelled Spider-Noir on Friday. Two days later it won five Emmy Awards.
Emmy historians say that is the most ever won by a series that ended after its first season. Lovecraft Country and My World and Welcome to It each won two.
The show won for stunt performance, sound editing, title design, visual effects and cinematography. Creator Oren Uziel said he does not know if revival is legally possible.
If the show had continued, he planned a second season in a different location. This could be Los Angeles or Europe.
Nicolas Cage's character would investigate new cases. Uziel celebrated with the whole crew at the Emmy ceremony.
