Jackie O's ARN lawsuit trial delayed until April 2027
Federal Court postponed the trial from October 2026 to April 2027 due to legal disputes over dozens of court documents.
Jackie O's trial against ARN was set for 12 October. Federal Court Justice Wendy Abraham postponed it to late April 2027 on Friday.
A legal dispute over a 3,900-page court document book caused the delay. The court cannot resolve the dispute before trial starts.
Justice Abraham said: "Documents did have to be provided in a far tighter timeframe than they were." Employment lawyer Michael Byrnes said the October date was always ambitious.
It was timed to Kyle Sandilands' separate case against ARN, which settled in June. Several legal applications still need to be heard before trial.
Henderson alleges ARN failed to address Sandilands' workplace conduct and bullying. ARN denies the allegations.
