Trump approval sinks to 32 per cent after launching Iran war
Trump's approval rating hits 32%, his lowest ever, as inflation drives Hispanic voters away.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Trump's approval at 32 per cent, unchanged from September but his lowest ever. Hispanic voters have swung sharply: just 24 per cent now approve, and only just 26 per cent plan to vote Republican in November's midterm elections.
In 2024, Trump won roughly 50 per cent of the Hispanic vote. Cost of living has become voters' top concern.
Inflation spiked after Trump launched a war with Iran in February, driving up petrol and diesel prices. Registered voters now prefer Democrats 44 per cent to Republicans 37 per cent, with analysts predicting Democrats will win control of the House.
