Joshua Smith stabbed to death in Mt Druitt gang assault
A 33-year-old tradesman was stabbed twice and kicked by a gang in Sydney's west; up to a dozen suspects are being hunted.
Joshua Smith, 33, was stabbed twice and kicked by a gang of attackers in Mt Druitt on Friday night around 9pm. CCTV captured him running down a laneway before the gang caught up and attacked him.
Some of the attackers are believed to be school-aged children, aged around 11 to 14. A security guard from a nearby pub called emergency services, but Smith was already dead by the time they arrived.
Police are hunting up to a dozen people in connection with the attack.
