Murray Arts marks 30 years with colour and creativity across Albury's AMP Lane
Murray Arts celebrated its 30th anniversary with Blank Canvas, a community art event that filled Albury's AMP Lane with creative stations.
Locals of all ages gathered in Albury's AMP Lane on Saturday for Blank Canvas, a celebration of creativity run by Murray Arts to mark its 30 years serving the Border community. Stations offered painting, cardboard displays, jewellery making and weaving.
There was no pressure to perform. Executive director Lauren Black, a jazz singer, said the event helped people discover their inner creative.
Children made some Halloween earrings and crafts. Families watched, contributed and joined in despite some early rain.
Black called the day fun and welcoming, with something for everyone regardless of age or skill.
