Stone & Wood founder sells demolished Derby landmark after three years
Brad Rogers is selling the 2,500-square-metre Main Street site he bought for $1.31 million in 2021, after tearing down the historic building.
Stone & Wood co-founder Brad Rogers paid $1.31 million for Derby's famous Crack House, a 1900 cottage that became a beloved bar, but has now shifted his plans. The property has been bulldozed, and the empty land goes to auction on 28 November.
A $5 million wellness centre and an Evolution bike shop with cafe are opening nearby, which could bring new customers to the town. The agent says the 2,500-square-metre site on Main Street could suit a pub, restaurant with rooms, or other commercial use.
