Seated Olivia Dean fan says standing crowds blocked her view in Sydney

Kitty O'Brien, 25, paid $200 for a seated ticket and could not get accessible seats.

Kitty O'Brien, 25, from Sydney, watched Olivia Dean's Saturday show at Afterpay Arena from a seated ticket. People standing in front of her blocked her view, so she posted footage online.

O'Brien has endometriosis and autoimmune conditions, which cause debilitating pain, unstable joints and fainting spells. O'Brien could not get accessible tickets, which are reserved for people with a disability.

So she bought regular seated tickets for the Saturday show. She paid $200 and said the experience left her disappointed.

Her post sparked online debate, with many people saying standing up to dance is normal. Others believed people who bought seated tickets should remain seated.

Patrons with reserved seats are generally allowed to stand, as long as they stay in or next to their seat.
