Ballarat school gets $21m for first major overhaul in more than 30 years
Canadian Lead Primary School in Ballarat East will receive a $21 million state election pledge for its first major overhaul since 1993.

Work will include updates inside the main block. New modular buildings will create modern learning spaces.
The school has 235 students and strong school results. It shows high NAPLAN growth rates in writing.
Teacher Alice Jury recently won the state's Outstanding Primary School Teacher award. She made improvements in literacy, numeracy and student wellbeing.
Member for Eureka Michaela Settle said the investment shows the school's great results. She said it will give staff modern spaces to build on that success.
