Woman dies in possible hit on Cardigan road
A 42-year-old woman was found injured on Remembrance Drive early Friday and died in hospital.
The woman was discovered on Remembrance Drive in Cardigan about 2:10am on October 9. The woman was flown to hospital but later died.
Police believe she may have been lying on the road when she was struck by a truck or vehicle. The driver may not have been aware of the impact.
Officers located debris possibly consistent with a truck at the scene. Ballarat Police are investigating and appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the early hours to come forward.
