Deloraine Junior Basketball Club was one of several sites hit in a vandalism spree on Monday, October 12. The Deloraine District Pony Club and Deloraine Squash Centre were also hit with graffiti.
Vandals shattered a glass panel at the council-owned complex where the basketball club is based. Vandals also smashed and emptied the club's fully stocked vending machine.
The club has been hit twice in four months, and the first incident cost it an estimated $3000. The club has one camera in its kiosk, and it needs council approval to install more.
