$200m Cessnock over-55s estate begins construction phase
Patterson Building has been appointed to build 301 homes across 91 acres in Cessnock, with the first residents expected by mid-2027.
The Hermitage, a $200 million land lease estate on the former Stonebridge Golf Course in Cessnock, has moved into its construction phase. Patterson Building will build 301 homes.
In-ground services start in October. Concrete laying on the first 44 homes is underway this year.
The estate spans 91 acres and includes a golf course, clubhouse, pool, gym, lawn bowls, pickleball courts and caravan parking. Land lease means residents own their home but lease the land.
This is Principle Living's first project in this model. Prices for the first stage of two- and three-bedroom homes range from $687,500 to $794,000.
